Warranty & Warehouse Locations

MERRIT BUMPERS
Standard bumpers are 16”, top to bottom, unless otherwise specified. Texas Square bumpers are 18” standard, 20” & 22” optional. All stocked bumpers are shipped FOB, from the nearest stocking warehouse.

All Bumpers are packaged for shipment. The customer is responsible for inspecting the bumper, upon receiving the product. Hidden damage claims will not be accepted by Merritt Equipment. Torque mounting bolts to 35 ft/lbs. If over torqued, damage to the chrome will occur. This type of damage will void any and all warranties.
BUMPER LIMITED WARRANTY
Merritt Equipment Co. warrants the bumper for the period of one year, from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser, on materials and workmanship. The chrome surface is warranted for peeling and/or cracking, also for one year.
The following are restrictions that will void the warranty in its entirety: Incorrect torque settings on the mounting bolts or not using all of the mounting bolts or incorrect mounting. Damage caused by impact to the bumper, of any type, at any location on the bumper. Altering or customizing the bumper in any way. Corrosive environments, such as corrosive acids, salt and sand or sand storms. If you feel that your bumper has a warranty claim, please contact Merritt directly, at (800)-525-0107. Merritt maintains the right to make judgements in regards to warranty and how the warranty is to be executed. The warranty does not cover any labor to remove or replace the bumper.
